Synopsis:
Set in the technologically advanced city of Kyoto in 2027, Hello World follows Naomi Katagaki, a socially awkward and introverted book lover. Naomi’s world changes when he encounters Ruri Ichigyou, a cold and blunt girl who shares his passion for reading. Despite their shared interests, Naomi hesitates to approach her due to her aloof demeanor.

One day, while out for a walk, Naomi witnesses a crimson aurora in the sky and encounters a mysterious hooded man who claims to be his future self from a decade ahead. This future Naomi reveals that a tragic event will soon befall Ruri, prompting him to come back to prevent it. Skeptical at first, present-day Naomi starts following his future self’s guidance and begins to get closer to Ruri, determined to alter her fate.

Hello World intertwines the present and future Naomis as they work together to change the course of events. Will their combined efforts be enough to save Ruri and alter the future?
